HEAVY ATHLETIC EVENTS
These are “non-professional” events, generally involving local people and various Tug-of-War team competitors. The heavy events are, however, a great crowd pleaser, and participants are cheered on with enthusiasm.
Events include the caber toss, stone throw, farmer’s walk and log sawing.
All equipment involved in the various events is supplied by the organizers.
Registrations are taken just prior to the competition, and individuals may register one or all events of their choice. The first 10 to register for each event are accepted.
